Port of Roenne A/S seeks solutions to reduce the amount of fossil fuels and replace these with sustainable, green solutions and thus contribute to having access to reliable, sustainable and modern energy at an affordable price
Action and goals towards 2025
- Port of Roenne A/S contributes by investments to the establishment of a Power-to-X market and intent by the end of 2025 to have invested minimum 5.0 mio. DKK in one or more projects relates to Power-to-X
- Port of Roenne A/S are to invest in shore power installations at the ferry quays and other quays, where installation is technically and financially profitable, and thus increase access to sustainable energy for ships at the quay, with an increase, registered use of 25% compared to 2020
- Port of Roenne A/S intend, by networking and branding, to contribute to an increased global knowledge of the service options for bunker ships on Bornholm, to ensure an increase of bunker calls by 200% compared to 2020
- Port of Roenne A/S will, by increased sustainability measures which includes reductions of Scope 1 & Scope 2 CO2-emissions by 2025% compared to 2020, contribute to a global reduction of CO2-emissions
