Offshore Wind
The Baltic Sea has a huge potential for windfarms and Port of Roenne A/S is chosen as pre-assembly port for serveral projects at sea. Siemens Gamesa and MHI Vestas have already selected Port of Roenne A/S because of it's unique infrastructure.
Port of Roenne is the central port of shipment for Offshore Wind in the Baltic Sea.
Since 2021, wind turbines and foundations have been shipped from the Port of Roenne to Krigers Flak and Arcardis Ost1. A number of shipping assignments are planned in the coming years, including to Baltic Eagle near Rügen.
